"Time out" on the Wadden Sea

Are you always thinking about work? If so, we have an attractive proposition for you. Give us your smartphone and laptop. In return we will give you thatched-roof farmhouses, sheep on the sea wall, salty sea breezes and a non-prescription “soul” massage. Where? Well right here in Husum, the shrimp-shelling capital of Schleswig-Holstein. Here time is different, like the tradition of sailing on the Wadden Sea. And when the ebb tide comes then time stops completely, because the ship is stuck until the flood tide comes back. The perfect way to force you to take a break!

Gala concert in the castle

Hearing is the most perceptive of all our senses. That‘s why concerts often send pleasant shivers up and down your spine. So why not try it out for yourself? And even if you don‘t actually play an instrument yourself: all you need is a bit of courage. Take the first step here at the North Sea. At this music workshop in the Husum Castle anyone can try out the instrument that best suits them. Roll the drums, blow a horn or push the pedals. At the end of the day you‘ll be able to find just the right tone as a harmonious team for scaling the career ladder.

Couch-Potato

Why not do something different for a change? Like: nothing! You get up in the morning at 6 a.m., sit around in conferences the whole day, take part in workshops or training, get to know loads of people and struggle through what feels like a thousand hours of business small talk. So, off home quickly, switch off your mobile, push a frozen pizza in the oven, switch the DVD recorder on, slump onto the couch and put your feet up. Home? But you‘re in a strange town!
